Use the following instructions to install your Spectra2 software upgrade. (From V7.5)
1. Download the application and license files from the previous page.
2. Click here <http://inetsw.inet.com/showdocs.html> to access the decode data and user documentation. Scroll to the Spectra2 files and download the decode setup for the software version to which you are upgrading.
3. Uninstall the current Spectra2 software version using the Add/Remove Programs accessed through the Control Panel. Reboot your system.
4. Run setup.exe from the application zip file. You do not need to reboot your system yet.
5. Manually copy the new license files: S2Config.txt, S2Config.ilf, S2Decode.txt, and S2Decode.ilf to the following location: c:\program files\tektronix\spectra2\bin folder. These files replace the existing ones.
Unzip the contents from both the decode setup files to a single folder on your desktop.
6. Run InstallApp.exe.
7. Reboot your system.
Note: Tektronix recommends you back up existing workspaces usually saved in c:\program files\tektronix\spectra2\workspace |
